BAN GIOC WATERFALL – 2D1N VIETNAMESE BORDER

Itineraries:

DAY 1: HANOI – MAT THAN MOUNTAIN – QUE SON RIVER (-/L/D)

6:00 – 6:30AM We will pick up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. The trip will go through Lang Son province and Cao Bang province.

12:30PM We will arrive at Na Sam town in Lang Son province, together we will have a delicious lunch at local restaurant. This town is famous for Tam Thanh market, very near to the border with China.

After lunch, we will travel to Cao Bang province, stop at Mat Than Mountain – a very beautiful mountain that shapes like an eye.

15:30PM We will arrive at the hotel, drop the luggage and continue to Que Son river for kayaking. Que Son aka Quay Son river is a beautiful river passing through both Vietnam & China.

17:30PM Come back to the hotel & free time to explore the local life.

18:00PM Dinner will be served at the hotel.

DAY 2: BAN GIOC WATERFALL – NGUOM NGAO CAVE - HANOI (B/L/-)

7:00AM Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

After breakfast, the bus & tour guide will bring you to Ban Gioc Waterfall. The waterfalls are located in an area of mature karst formations where the original limestone bedrock layers are being eroded. Numerous streams spring from underground fissures along the lower levels of the area. The waterfalls have multiple drops, from bedrock layer to layer, which shows the multiple depositions of sediments of different hardness which formed the terrain over millions of years.

9:00AM We will continue our trip to visit Nguom Ngao cave, a gigantic dried karst cave. At here, we can see multiple limestone structures.

12:15PM We will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, it’s time to say farewell, the bus will take you back to Hanoi. Approximately, we will be back at Hanoi around 19:00PM.
